RiverWalk Part 3 - An Update

The progress speaks for itself!
They say "a picture is worth a thousand words". So there is no need to use many words and a lot of explanations when it comes to the redevelopment of the RiverWalk. This blog has viewed this project before and this is merely an update of the current progress.

Soon the pathway's users could resume their enjoyment
The pathway between Fort Calgary and 9th Avenue (SE) has been under construction for many months now. The reason for this closure is the reconstruction of the river pathway and its transformation into a wonderful section of the RiverWalk.
The completion of this section (scheduled to the Summer of 2012), will mark the end of "Stage 1" of the RiverWalk Development Master Plan - as presented by the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation.

The project's progress is very distinct; especially compared to the old path
